An hour plus from mid Md. An older park, but quaint, and peaceful LoopB crowded as only full, pet loop. Dump station a bit crowded, but staff very friendly. Too late in year to enjoy the lake, but..there is 2019.

We really enjoyed staying here this past weekend. The park staff were very friendly and the bathrooms were very clean. I didn't mind taking a shower here. We loved our campsite in-particular, as we were not too close to other campers and were able to...More

Campsites are beautiful. We did camping at modern tent only site. It's peaceful and lake is just few steps away. Campsites T9 to T15 are close the lake. Bathrooms are very clean and 5 min walk from the camp site. There are several hiking trails......More

Just a wonderful place. Kayaking does require a state boat sticker.Go early in the morning and you can see the bald eagles ! Also several trails as well as overnight camping. FIshing too ... again, a PA permit is required.

We have visited this park for the past two falls (2016 and 2017) and plan to go back this October 2018 with more friends. It's really fun particularly for kids up to young teens. But my 16-yo and his buddy had fun too.

Lots of things to do around and near the campground. Our experience started badly because of the extreme rudeness of the man and woman in the gatehouse. We have been to many state campgrounds and have always been greeted warmly. The two in this campground...More

Hershey park was closed so we swam in codorus park - and kids loved it! We tried waterslides and etc. It was nice clean park, swimming pool was big enough, everything functioned well.

Could be a little tough, loop b is wooded and tighter, than say loop d. Loop 59, 63, that area would be easier. If you aren't happy, they may let you move to an overflow area, if they are fully booked.
