They now have air conditioning which is great but we liked the ceiling fan ambiance a bit more.

The performers are always happy to mingle after the show. Although locals meet and greet each other, visitors are not only welcome but should be prepared to be "chatted up" and given suggestions about some of the current best spots for entertainment, food, etc. Giacomo's is still offering some of the best food (check the crabby fries and any daily... We went to see a comedy play during the season. They usually have around 6 different plays during the season which lasts from late spring/early summer to late fall. Plays are from different categories like comedy, musical, drama, etc. Sometimes they have the xmas play "The Scrooge". Overall the play was good. Order tickets through the website, phone or stop by... We've been season ticket holders for many years and still love this place. The actors are true professionals; the play selections are once again fantastic; definitely two thumbs up from us!!

Sometimes it's hard to find fun things to do around town and Totem Pole is definitely a great choice. We went to see One Slight Hitch and the actors were absolutely fabulous. They all played their roles really well. Had some great laughs! Looking forward to their next show! We will definitely be there.

Nestled in the woods of the state park is the playhouse, a small but highly sophisticated theater with a wonderful docket of dramas, comedies, musicals - you will be able to find *something* that will pique your interest. I made my first trip up over the mountain from Gettysburg (a beautiful drive through scenic Pennsylvania farm land) this past weekend... More

Decided to do something a little different for our Anniversary and went to see "Forever in Plaid" and were we so pleasantly surprised at the big crowd and the wonderful entertainment! Totem Pole has come a long way in the last few years with updates to the parking lot and sound system and there's not a bad seat in the... More

We went to see Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks, which was absolutely fantastic. The cast was incredibly talented and the theatre was charming and comfortable. The price of the tickets were included in our stay at the Mercersburg Inn and it was a great value. The best part is that you can sit anywhere in the playhouse and have... More

Nestled In a serene forested area between Chambersburg and Gettysburg, is a gem called the Totem Pole Playhouse. We had the pleasure of watching Patsy Cline and Hank Williams, Sr. Tribute Artists who captured the essence of both individuals. The acoustics were excellent as well as the band supporting these artists. Travellers in this area should consider attending a performance... More

Went to see off Broadway show of Grease. This was a wonderful show. The Totem Pole theatre is the very best place to go for a stay production. A must see while in this area.

This is a great summer theater. I try to get at least two plays in each summer. They are open May thru August.
