We visited on a Sunday, and our attention was immediately caught by Bill Brady Jr.'s mobiles. I could have stayed in that room all day. We enjoyed the other displays, and the original museum building-Custom House-itself. The Diner display was amazing. I wish there had...More

We attended a wedding here with a hundred or so guests which turned out to be a good size group for the place. Ceremony and dining and dancing areas were seperate. There is a stage. The gallery space is not huge and overwhelming, and regional...More

Here's a good reason to use Trip Advisor: we never would have visited this attraction if we didn't know it was free on Wednesdays, as we're not really into art. The layout is a bit confusing (renovations are being done), but if you like art,...More

A bit overpriced but it seems works for Erie. I would like them to solicit more paintings and painters versus dowdy 3 rate masters. There are so many great living artists in Erie

A quirky and delightful mix of exhibits, with an emphasis on contemporary local artists. Love the room curated by kids from local schools. Don't know what the spooky, cylindrical bricklined space was originally, but it makes a great exhibit space.

I live in Erie and am a member of the EAM, so I do go there a few times a year. I went last Friday for Gallery Night, and found the large exhibit by Mercyhurst University professor Daniel Burke extremely interesting, as apparently did many...More

It was a little confusing to navigate the upper floors of the museum, but we managed. Loved the Pittsburgh glass exhibit(as I am from Pittsburgh) and the tiffany glass exhibit as well. And free admission on Wednesdays was a pleasant surprise

We've visited a few times. Besides the attractive building I'm not a fan at all and glad I got in for free!! The Erie Art Museum has been run by the same person for 25 years and it shows!! Honestly it's more like antique roadshow...More

I bit of a lot of things. They are a lovely small art museum. They were having a special exhibit of the work of a couple of more local artists (one a photographer, the other a painter) last summer when I was there.
