All year round Presque Isle State Park offers a range of naturalist activities but on one special weekend the PI is especially great. It's known as Discover Presque Isle, a family focused event. Over 4 days in August, the event hosts a mix of entertainment options from historical presentations, a sand sculpture contest where the visitors determine winner, food and... More

I live here and been going the park since i was a little kid. We are lucky to have this on our door step. So much to do there beside laying on the beaches. It is great for the kids and a bike ride around the 12 mile trail is great.Come to Erie and enjoy our own getaway.

What a gem! So glad I had the time to explore a bit of the park today. Quiet place in January, but still a fair amount of visitors. Will be back.

I was visiting family that had just moved to Erie and was taken for a ride around Presque Isle. It was mid December and it was beautiful. As a Florida resident, I had not been in snow in over 50 years. I really appreciated seeing the frozen bay side with the birds, blinds, frozen icicles on the trees dipping into... More

Spectacular views, even on a grey day. Park and walk or just drive the entire Isles. Perfect for pictures.

The unique beauty of Presque Isle is evident year-round. This unspoiled park is a great place to go to seek peace and quiet and enjoy nature. Great beaches, hiking trails, bird watching and scenic beauty.

We started visiting the area quite a few years ago and this is one of our favorite places. We always find time to lose a day on the beach. The views can't be beat, the land is always clean and free of litter, the lifeguards are constantly patrolling the beach, there are many wonderful locations for family picnics and lots... More

This is a big park on Lake Erie in the town of Erie, PA. It is setup for walkers and bikers to use a path separate from the automobiles. There are multiple picnic sites and access points to launch small boats. Throughout the park are areas of historical interest with signage describing the important role this area played in the... I no longer live in Erie but I grew up several miles from Presque Isle. Most people call it "The Peninsula" or "The beach". When I'm in Erie especially in the summer I love to go to the beach. There are great fishing spots, swimming areas, food, bike and walking trail and large covered and open picnic areas. If you... More
