Great for the Duffer

With wide open fairways, it allows the "duffer" to keep the ball in play. Especially those of us who keep score by the number of balls lost or saved. The greens are fair, but... read more

I live near by to this course and have played it many times in leagues, outings and normal rounds. The 9 hole blue course which is behind the club house it fun to get a quick 9 in, not very far or challenging. The full 18 across the street (red & white) are layed out nice, average difficulty, some water... More

We always looked forward to playing this challenging course.Something has happened and the only way to describe it is dying.Dying greens, dying fairways, dying ponds and dying trees laying all over the place. It seems as though they have stopped caring for anything except mowing the grass.Weeds on the fairways and tees, sand traps that are hard as concrete and greens with practically no... Friendly golf course with some challenging holes. The course is long, has woods, and some water. It also has a snack bar at the end of nine holes.

With wide open fairways, it allows the "duffer" to keep the ball in play. Especially those of us who keep score by the number of balls lost or saved. The greens are fair, but challenging enough to satisfy the occasional player. I did find it somewhat baffling at times to locate the next tee box because the signage is not... More

This is a very nice rather short course. Fairways are wide enough so that the average golfer won't get in too much trouble. Tee boxes could be better, fairways and rough are well maintained and greens are in good condition. Doesn't seem that the course gets too much play and that's a shame because it is a nice place to... Came here with no expectations other than it had been almost a year since we went golfing and wanted to spend a lovely summer day playing golf. We were not disappointed. Despite other negative reviews we found the place delightful, inexpensive and the course well kept up. It's not a fancy course but the greens were in great shape and... More

Regardless of when you play, the course could stand to be in better shape. It always looks and feels like it needs the care of someone who understands golf to develop it into its full potential. Some of the staff are extremely friendly and outgoing while others don't really seem to care if you play golf there or not. The... More

Arrowhead golf club is your a-typical Pa. Jeans and T-shirt golf course. Greens run very slow however getting to them is made difficult by the various shots you will see. Both the executive and 18-hole course require accurate approaches and creativity. The staff is very friendly. The one big issue here is slow play due to lots of high handicappers.

This lovely course is both beautiful and challenging. Nice mix of par 3s, 4s, and 5s. Both the greens and fairways are in nice shape.
