This is a place that stays in your heart - beautiful, tranquil, rejuvenating. Even if you do nothing but sit and enjoy the view, it's well worth the visit.

The PPL montour preserve is a very beautiful place all times of the year. It includes a lake, an island, and a large forest. Also, there is much wildlife there. I strongly recommend visiting the Preserve if you are in the area.

We have been here multiple times as a family and we love coming here! There is so much to explore - multiple play areas with swing, sand/dirt pits with sit-on and use back-hoe-like toys to dig with, lakes, several long trails, a dam to look it over the lake, picnic areas and more!

Very nice park for paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking and fishing. It also offers walking trails around the lake for the adventurous. Charcoal grills are available for cooking and pavilions can be rented for family or group affairs. The rest areas are nice and clean port potty type but are housed in concrete building with running water for hand washing. The... More

Great lake and spot to take a hike. There is a 5 mile hiking loop around the lake. Relatively flat. The lake is open to non-motorized boats and kayaks, so it stays peaceful. Birdwatching is always good - several bald eagles at the late and one of the better regional spots for birds of all kings.
