I find it very hard to rate to place. On the one hand the snow was just bad - temperatures had been too high for too long, which means that ski conditions just got worse and worse during our stay. While we had full day tickets it meant that we left around 4pm because skiing was just over - no... More

I'm going to start with the Skiing because it was better than our stay in the Lodge. The slopes were fun and there was new snow, until the warm weather moved in. It wasn't crowded and that was nice. However, the lifts were terrible. They were rusty and scary. The Route 66 lift swung so much at the start that... More

This resort is very dated. Could have so much potential. Nice vertical. Good mix of terrain. Sits on top the mountain with lots of space... Lodge just needs torn down and rebuilt with a new one... No flow to purchase tickets... No signs directing where to go. Would be so nice with a ski village, shops and restaurants on too... More

While Blue Knob may not be best for first timers, but it is still okay for those who aren't experts. It receives less people than Seven Springs or Hidden Valley, so the hills, while icy, aren't dangerously slick. There is a mix of trails: wide and small, easy and difficult, flatter and steeper. Blue Knob helped me become more and... More

The slopes here present a good variety for the various classes of skiers. And, it's not all that far from the major metropolitan centers. PA? Who knew?

this resort has a nice variety of ski trails, from beginner to expert it is the highest elevation of skiable trails in Pa. lodge is a bit rustic and older, it does have a bar and nice fireplace inside, ski lifts are decent, not usually crowded this is a inverted ski lift as you drive to the top where the... Well, I think I have a lot to say, good and bad. Obviously, when I give a bad review it's because it's valid, but this review isn't all bad anyway. I'll start off with the good parts to Blue Knob and I'll conclude with the bad. THE GOOD: Beautiful ski resort with wide trails and well maintained snow. When I... More

I live in Maryland so for a day trip i happily trek to blue knob. It has some real steep challenging stuff that are much harder than other ski resorts, and good intermediate stuff. ticket prices are much lower too. Stembogan bowl is one of a kind. The glades when open are real hard. Very laid back and friendly. The... More

Blue Knob has the best terrain based on variety and challenge. The resort is not crowded. Management could be better but I wouldn't trade it over all the perks. We stay at the Tranquill Chalet, right on the slopes. It's perfect for friends/family. While I am not a fan of the tubing park, there are additional things to do. If... More

Many runs closed and its extremely slow so WAX your skis. Some thin areas and today, Mon there are barely 20 skiers if that. Am told the weekend was packed and set a record attendance maybe. Dont know. If you got to have a certain run call else enjoy paralleling down very easy mambo to the triple chair.
