We went on a Groupon, after the hayride season and so, we just got the wine tasting. It must've been a bad year as we didn't like any of them. However, the manager there is a great guy and gave us a lot of information about running a winery. The tour also included their distillery but, it is quite amateurish... More

We stopped by the winery after touring Fallingwater. The wines are sweet for the most part but there were about a dozen to choose from so I was able to find some I liked from the descriptions on the information sheet I was given. There was no charge for the tasting. It was fairly crowded so we didn't linger but... More

While the server was new and didn't have much product knowledge, we had been there before and worked around that. It was a busy day so we tasted, bought a case (and got a discount) and went on our way. There was live music outside and it was a great day to be outdoors. We will definitely be back again!

We stopped by Christian Klay Winery to sample their wines. The tasting was free so that was nice. In Virginia we have over 200 wineries so we are used to getting flights of wine poured in glasses while the pourer talks to you about the wines. We were a bit surprised by the small plastic cups and having the server... More

My first time at the Winery and it was the Chili Cook-off! I went with my teen foreign exchange student. We really didn't know what to expect, but had a great time! Entertainment, chili tasting, vendors, and wine tasting, if you choose! Unlimited wine tasting, which is rare, at no cost! I didn't wine taste, but went back at a... More

I'm a sweet wine fan and I loved the sparkling wines. They were delicious. You can try any of the wines for free no limit like most wineries. Would definitely recommend.

Stopped at the little shop that's not far past the main winery, toward the park. It looks like crap on the outside but the inside is like most little wine stores. Scored the Stone House Red, the Raspberry, and a pound of honey. The wines are both great and so is the honey. Lady behind the counter was cool and... More

Purchased a tour package on Groupon and had a nice time. One needs to allow at least 2 hours for the 2 tours. The Distillery (Ridge Runner) is new and the owner led this part of the tour; the tasting included a small sampling of all their products, with Apple Pie Moonshine the most popular among our group. The wine... More
