Went for a 1 hour trail ride with my 2 kids and a friend. Check in was very efficient and they had us on horses within 15 minutes of arriving there. If you're expecting a trail guide the whole way, you're out of luck. They point you in the direction you need to go and then you're on your own.... More

We had a great time at Rolling Hills! The guides were nice and the trails and horses were beautiful! We loved that we had freedom to ride but the guides were close! The best part was the view of the city from the top of the hill! So cool! Affordable fun for all, even beginners!

Great trails through the woods and hillsides. It really feels like you are alone, exploring the wilderness. When we went, we had to wait an hour and a half because there were two parties of ten in front of us, so be prepared to wait, but once you are out there, it is just you, your family, and whatever is... I loved the moonlight ride and had a blast. Be sure to reserve right away as they fill up quickly. My son loves riding here and the 2 of us like to take the horses down the different paths. The scenery is beautiful there. The only bad thing is if there has been a lot of rain the trails get... More

I've been riding at RHR for two years now and love the freedom of the rides! My favorite horse is Troy and he's a handful at times but a wonderful ride! If you are honest about your riding skill, the experienced staff will match you with the perfect mount. If you are nervous about your first ride, ask for a... More

I had never been to Rolling Hills Ranch before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I called several times (once a few days before & once the morning before we went), and the man that answered the phone courteously answered my questions (you do not need a reservation, you can wear shorts but not sandals, they provide helmets to... My boyfriend took me trail riding for my birthday & it was wonderful! We arrived around noon, paid & within in 10 mins had a horse to ride. The guys were so helpful and genuinely nice. I've been riding horses for years but it was his first time riding and he really enjoyed it. They put us on a horse... More

My family discovered Rolling Hills Ranch last Spring. Management knows their horses and have years of experience. Patti and Sean do an excellent job at matching up horse with rider and making sure riding equipment is safe. Be honest about your riding skill level so you don't get hurt or hurt the horse. Horses have good and bad days too.... More

This was my first time riding a horse ever. I had no experience at all but wanted to give it a try anyway. We got there around 11:30am. The horses looked dirty and uncared for. The staff are inattentive and don't care for you at all. There are no safety rules at all. They gave me a horse named Mr... More

My husband, boys (10 and 8) and I went to Rolling Hills today having never ridden horses before. We went in Saturday morning, 10 a.m. The cost was $90.00 for the four of us. The staff was nice but I was a little surprised that they didn't give too many instructions. They placed my children on the horses first, told... More
