Abes buggy ride was such a pleasure to take. Our driver Earl was so informative about the land and the Amish community. We took the 45 min ride and could have done another 45 min. The farm land is expansive and their community lifestyle peaks my curiosity as to how they live such a different way. Highly reccomend Abes, very... More

We chose Abe's based on their positive reviews, we even kept the rental car an extra day to drive out here. So I was disappointed with our tour, but I think it was because our driver was not that informative. I wanted to learn about the Amish way of life, so I asked some questions, but didn't get any information... More

We decided on the hour ride. We stopped at an Amish families house in which we could purchase some items that they made. Our guide was very polite and courteous. I would definitely recommend anyone who is visiting Lancaster to check out Abe's Buggy Rides!

We had a very nice ride there were eight people in the buggy but did not feel crowded. Our driver was very nice and informative when we ask him questions. Very picturesque scenery including a covered bridge, about an hour long.

We had a great ride with Sam, who was delightful and very informative. We took the 6.5 mile trip, which gave us a good tour of lots of places and sights. Sam kept up a good commentary, answered our questions and gave us plenty of photo opportunities.

Wonderful ride with Elizabeth and Charlie. Elizabeth was a delight and very informative. She allowed us to ask any questions we had. We liked Abe's because we were the only two on the ride - not with other people / so a private ride. Highly recommend. Ask for Elizabeth!!!!b

We chose Abe's because the tour is private. We decided on the 45 minute tour, which was rather expensive ($30 pp), but gave us more time on the back roads. We did ask about the coupon and got $2.00 off each ticket. Our driver was Sam King, an older gentleman who was witty and engaging. When he talked, I'd say... More

We had a wonderful time on a private buggy ride to an Amish farm house where we saw a working farm and then a school house
