Lots of exploring needed in this area, well kept walkways down to the devils churn and tide pools could spend 2 days here seeing all that's here. Rugged and beautiful

You can either experience it from up above or you can hike down below and feel the water hit your face. A true show of what mother natures power can do!!! Was incredible during a calm day, would love to experience it during a storm!

Mesmerising waves crashing on the rocks. A great example of the forces shaping this coastline. Easy place to stop.

You must stop here and do the short (very easy) hike to see. We were blown away at how beautiful it was.

This was my all time favorite on this trip and yes I did go out on the rocks and get plummeted by the waves. It was fun and dangerous I was fully aware of what I was doing. For the more conservative and less risky...More

We were here just as a big storm was approaching. High winds starting, and rain threatening. Everyone was rushing to get here to watch the power of the ocean! A little scary but so worth the experience!

We almost did not walk down the stone stairs to view this area closely. Once there we spent a long time mesmerized by the passing of every wave! Beautiful !

Very worthwhile stop here to see firsthand the power of the ocean as it courses thru the chasm and sprays up on the cliff side rocks,

This spot certainly shows the awesomeness of nature and the strength of the ocean. Very impressive coastal activity.

The scenery is amazing, especially before high tide. The trail also leads to the lovely Cape Cove and onward. But do not miss the hot dogs at the kiosk. Best in America. No joke.

There is a parking fee for the lots on site- but if you buy the parking pass from the ranger station, it is good for all park stops along the way.

Google Yachats tide conditions 2015. It's also worth noting that other weather conditions such as swell, storm etc will have an effect on your experience so watch the weather forecast for the area.
