Beautiful beach, long and clean! Also has clean bathrooms and a big parking area. We got married on this beach 6 years ago and we return several times a year. It just keeps getting better and better! Now there is a lovely viewing platform that is wheelchair accessible with rails overlooking the beach. Great addition!

This is our go to beach. Easy access and lots to see. Great place to take the pets and kids. Take a blanket and watch the sunset.

Nice beach with good parking, easy access. Wide sandy beach with room to walk, beachcomb, or just watch the waves or people fishing at the mouth of the river.

Lovely and a great place to take along walk and your dog get a nice run. Clean as it can be and not particularly crowded. Close to several nice campgrounds. We chose the KOA, with no regret.

We liked the easy beach access. Appreciate the restrooms and ample parking. This is a good beach for walking. The day we were here in March, 2016, there was a strange substance on the beach. It looked like small black beads and blue/black webbing. We think it was tar like they have on the beaches of the Carolinas (the Tar... More

We enjoy stopping at this convenient beach site just south of Waldport. Plan on walking north when the tide is lower and then turn east to see the splendid Alsea River meeting the Pacific. Often we see seals, bald eagles and abundant sand dollars. The view of the bridge is spectacular as well, as are the bed and breakfast (Cliff... More
