Gorgeous place. See the video for information about forestry and the historic forest fires. Go outside to see the river and bridge. Great for kids and adults. Gift shop and museum. Spend some time here, educational and lovely. Trails and swimming out back in river.

We stopped here on our journey to Cape Mears on the Oregon coast. The center is clean, friendly and very informative. A soak in the river, a walk in nature and some photos and you'll be rested and ready for more driving, and exploring.
