The history of Tillamook Cheese dates back to 1909, so it is very pleasing to see that it is continues to be successful and has recently expanded. We called whilst in the area and enjoyed the displays and exhibits in the Visitor Centre which detailed the background and present position of the company. Also, of course, we sampled the various... I had fun visiting the Cheese Factory, but I like silly things like that. It was cool to see how the cheese was processed. They had a store with all the different cheeses they make for purchase and they provided samples as well. My favorite is the Garlic White Cheddar Cheese which I have not been able to find anywhere!... More

Visitor's center is under construction. Nice history from farm to fridge. Free samples of cheese. A bunch of cheeses and souvenir type items to choose from. Ice cream area with a large selection of flavors.

We like cheese and ice cream, so this was a great place to stop on our way down the coast. The learning part is small but fun. The ice cream was my favorite part! You can also get breakfast or lunch, if you like.

The tour of the creamery and cheese factory was great. The visitor center offers outstanding samples of cheese. You may sample and purchase ice cream from a variety of offerings (cones, waffle cones, dishes, quarts, pints, ect.). You may also purchase souvenirs and clothing from the gift shop. If you are in the area, it is worth the visit.

I organized my road trip to go through Oregon specifically to come here and it didn't disappoint. The factory tour is fine, but the shop and cafe are everything! I literally left with 25lbs of cheese and carried them through the airport in a 5 gallon ice cream bucket with a make do strap. I can't easily get Tillamook on... More

We stumbled upon the Tillamook Cheese Factory on our way down the Oregon Coast. The drive from Portland alone is reason to make the trek, with the lush forests and serpentine highway were enough to take our breaths away. We figured, why not take a stop at the local cheese factory? Everyone has tasted, or at least come across Tillamook... More

The Cheese Factory is closed till summer 2018, so all you can do is Shop and Eat here which is ok, but its a long drive from most places, so I'd wait till 2018.

We popped in to take the tour. As it is being renovated at the moment we had a quick look around the exhibits, sampled some cheese (very nice) and had an ice cream. I wouldn't detour to see this, but would definitely do it if you are in the area.
