The Timberline Lodge Exhibit was very interesting and well done. The textiles made and used at the Lodge were great and well displayed. Some of the other displays were very interesting and informative as well.

Two large showrooms of different kinds of sewing and needlework. The craftsmanship of the works was exquisite. The textiles themselves were beautiful. They also had a section of historical items. You could purchase many of the items.

We came to see the special exhibit, but enjoyed the rest of the museum also. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. This place is worth a stop in Tillamook, before you hit the ice cream at the cheese factory!

Half of our group are quilt lovers, the rest of us gained an appreciation and respect for quilts from our visit. Both vintage and modern quilts were available for viewing and purchase. Volunteer stories and demonstration of their craft was the highlight.

Very neat place with some amazing quilts. They gave a great variety of crafty items and some significant history in their exhibits. Definitely a place worth visiting.

This charming textile center has rotating exhibits. The one we visited was entitled Power of Flowers and included exhibit works from 65 artists from Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Idaho, California and Canada. Quality rugs with a biography of the maker next to them.

We stumbled upon this wonderful tribute to quilts, textiles and fibers on a backroad near Tillamook, OR. There are basically three main rooms to the center including a gallery, a room to learn weaving with lots of floor looms, and a room for laying out...More

After having driven by their sign post many times in the past, we finally stopped in for a look. The non-profit Center is housed in a quaint, century-old schoolhouse along the Wilson River (great reuse of this facility). Inside, there are a handful of large,...More
