We were taking a quick road trip to Salem, and we heard that this would be a good time to visit Schreiner's. Sure enough, there were lots of beautiful flowers to see, smell and purchase. Our whole family had a lovely afternoon.

Went there for Mother’s Day with family and friends. There are plenty of tables in the shade where you can have a picnic which we did as well. Flowers were blooming so it was very pretty . You can buy them as well

We visited Schreiners Garden for their annual Iris showing. There we hundreds of iris in every color imaginable. Bring your camera as the place is a Monet setting.

We drove more than one hundred miles to see the iris. Well worth the trip. What beauty! There are more flowers than just the iris, such as lilacs, pansies and lupine. Chairs are available for a rest after walking through the 10 acres of lovely...More

A local friend took us to enjoy this amazing experience. Almost all of the Iris and most of the Clematis were in bloom. Such a peaceful and beautiful space to experience. Wonderful space for photography.

The garden is beautiful in May and June. Great place for a picnic lunch and for taking photos. The warehouse has buckets of various varieties of blooms. Most are .75 cents each. Recommend getting stems that have not yet opened for longer vase life. Visit...More

We went a week early, most flowers are blooming in week or so, in full swing May 11th, What we saw was amazing, looking forward to coming back in a week or so, amazing white and pink blooms

We visited this little gem with my parents several years ago while the iris's were at their best. WOW!! What a great little garden, and more. Lots more flowers to see there than just iris's. Really would like to go back and spend more time...More

There are no Iris blooming now. The garden is mostly foliage. We have a few rose bushes, some daisies and "black-eyed susans". May is the best time to visit the gardens, to be sure.

Hello! Thank you for writing. Tall Bearded Iris typically begin blooming here in Salem, Oregon at the beginning May. Dwarf Bearded Iris and Intermediate Bearded Iris are usually blooming in late March and Early April. We do... More
