They have a day in December that they do a free event. They have a Santa available for pictures. I enjoyed the staff and volunteers a lot. It's a self guided tour which I like because it's at your pace. Yet there's plenty of people...More

Deepwood has lovely gardens, trails to the creek, and a very picturesque Queen Anne/Victorian house complete with stained glass windows and a turret. Pathways through the gardens lead to garden rooms complete with archways, gazebos, and colorful flowers.

This wonderful garden is fun to walk thru and then visit this beautiful old home. It’s not handicapped accessible; but, if you can get up the stairs it’s well worth it.

Although the home does not have many of the original owners' furnishings, there is still plenty to see from the same time period. The family that had the home built wanted the most modern conveniences available such as electricity and plumbing. Because we were there...More

I understand that the docents are volunteers, but the tour guide was awful. She provided loads of misinformation on the timing of events and droned on for way too long about the families who lived there

I loved the Gardens that were still open to the public, however, the house tours are only from 9-12 noon. And I think they are only open on certain days, too. This was suggested by our docent at The Bush House. Since I don't live...More
