Worth the drive. Gorgeous scenery. Friendly family. Beautiful, unique facilities. Be sure to find their cute outhouse up by the amphitheater.

Steve and Gloria are exceptional hosts and their wines are delectable! You can have your tasting in the wine cave, with small treats to compliment the wines you're enjoying. Or you can sip and visit just out the winery door in a lovely garden patio setting. This is a great place to take visitors to the area; it highlights our... More

The wine tasting experience is unique, they pair wines with small bites to enhance the wine and the food. The wine is all estate grapes and very good. The scenery is stunning and the wine cave interesting. Well worth the visit.

This was our 3rd stop of the day. The winery is about a mile of the road. Plenty of signs to get you there without getting lost. The property is beautiful and you get the opportunity for outdoor tastings. They also have indoor rooms inside their wine cave, which was pretty cool. They offer complimentary wine cave tours. The wine... More

Stopped at the prayer rock vineyard on a trip south. What a great winery with excellent wines. Did the wine tasting, which I highly recommend. Enjoyed the staff as well as the owners. Was impressed with the wines and joined their wine club.

This winery really does make you feel welcome. They give you a tour of the wine cave and grounds. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside to do our tasting. They supplied little bits of food for pairings that were delicious themselves. Very relaxing.

This was our third visit to this beautiful winery. We love their friendly staff & the casual atmosphere. We enjoyed a tasting with a knowledgeable server and stayed to enjoy a bottle of the Tempranillo with a cheese tray. The cave is magnificent as are the surrounding grounds. We highly recommend this winery.

Douglas County has several vineyards producing outstanding wines. The wines from this vineyard are award winning and outstanding. The cellar food pairings and presentation is worth the membership and membership in the wine club offered by this winery. A visit is an enjoyable experience often accompanied by live musical entertainment which makes this winery a destination as much as a... More
