This place closed this January. Had good thoughts about this evening attending a Maria Schneider concert at the PDX Jazz Festival. Buzz tonight is that this place is going to be reprised in another Portland bar suitable to keep the jazz vibe alive.

Saw Mel Brown here last night. His band was the best ever and I was so caught up in how tight they were. The joy they felt playing together - 7 piece band - was inspirational and pure joy.

Depends upon the night's show, artist, and size of crowd, On two shows per night, they usually empty out the venue at 9:30 or so for the 10PM seating. Depending upon the artist, it's best to have reservations. Call Jimmy's... More
