A quick little trip up the hill to see a different view of Portland. If you have an extra 30 min it's a good way to kill some time. Short trip With great views.

Because it tends to rain a lot in Portland, this is a great way to get a magnificent ariel view of the city and you don't have to walk out in the rain to see it. It is a stop on the street car, so just ride down, get off and enjoy the experience. It takes you to OMSI, about... More

We were driving to lunch and saw these trams in the air. After a quick google search we saw they were the Ariel Trams. We went on a day where it was sprinkling. We used the ATM looking machines to purchase our 2 tickets ($5 for round trip) and only had to wait about 5min for the next tram. It... More

Use an all day pass to ride till you get hungry and have some wonderfull food at the OHSU cafeteria then go for more rides. Sweeping vista views and cool breezy observations.

Worth the $5.00 if you're not a patient and the sun is out and the mountains are in full view. Mt Hood is best seen at sunset, Mt St Helens at noon. The river can be great viewing in early morning, but otherwise much is blocked if the sunrise is bright. Great way to see fall colors and sail boat... More

Inexpensive but spectacular view of Portland complete views o w of the bridges, hills, river and city. Even if it's rainy it's worth it but best when clear. It takes you to OHSU. It's a quick trip but memorable

I have to admit, I was the person grasping the rail with both hands as we started up. But the ride is smooth, other than around the tower, and the views were spectacular. I'm really glad I went. There is a moment of that elevator drop feeling on the way down, just past the tower, but otherwise, an easy ride.... More

This is an easy and inexpensive activity that provides a great view of Portland. Kids love it and it is easy to do.

We took the tram up to get some pictures of the city. Not really much to do once you get up, you are in a Medical Teaching Hospital
