Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I have never like the loom of this so called bridge. It looks like a gigantic slot car track snaking over the Willamette River and weaving its tentacles to snarl traffic. It was opened in 1966 with the upper deck sending traffic northward. While the lower deck spits out the Southbound traffic. Yeah, it is a functional eyesore. Gets you where you need to go. But sure doesn't amount to a hill of beans to look at. Somewhere beneath all that concrete spaghetti are people and businesses that wounder where the view of their city went.
On the plus side? It gives the homeless a sheltered place to pitch their tents and stay dry.

Usually I’m too busy watching the I-5 traffic rather than do any sightseeing off the Marquam Bridge, but recently during a submarine veteran’s reunion in Portland I was able to see from the this brudge my old submarine USS Blueback displayed below at OMSI.

A freeway bridge spanning the Willamette river. Was the first freeway crossing of the Willamette many years ago (the Freemont became the second). Not particularly stunning to view though. Surprised it's listed on TripAdvisor.

For most people this is a way to cross the Willamette River on I-5, possibly hooking up with I-405. It was also intended to connect with the never built Mount Hood freeway which would have provided access to I-205 not Mount Hood. If someone else is driving you can enjoy views of the south waterfront, the $50+ million tram, and the river. No point to go there but it is unavoidable in any case.

Yep, the bridge pictured is the Fremont. The Marquam Bridge is significantly less photogenic.
