Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is, from what I’ve heard, the worlds smallest park. No bigger than a beach ball. It’s a nice place to visit but I wouldn’t want to live here. As it sits in the middle of a crosswalk. Take a quick photo when traffic is light. Worth the quick visit

This little leprechaun colony in the middle of Naito Parkway is one of my favorite little quirks about Portland. I'm thankful that the city has kept it and enjoyed it for so many years.
Yes, it's tiny and you can easily walk right past it without even realizing the gold at your feet. You won't really spend any time laying in the grass or picking flowers, but you'll be able to tell your friends you were there...and, in this day and age, that's all we want to do anyway.
I love the story behind the park and the creativity that the park originates from.
To all the naysayers.....walk fifteen feet across Naito Parkway and hang out on the waterfront. That's a nice BIG park for you.
Us lovers of Mill Ends Park are perfectly content keeping it's tiny little surface to ourselves.

Once we found out that the smallest park in the world is in Portland, we decided that we had to visit while we were in Portland. I wouldn't say that this park should be a destination while you're in Portland, but it's worth a quick stop if you're in the area, just to be able to say you've been there. The park is very small, very easy to overlook, and in the middle of the street, almost a median.

Known as the world's smallest park, we thought it would be fun to visit.
The authorities could have made more of it; in truth, it was a circular kerb with a small tree in it. They could have planted a few flowers just to give it some colour and to make it look as though it was cared for.
There is a plaque and notice (giving explanation and story). Kind of fun, but could have been more cared for.

Might as well plan to stay a few hours so you can enjoy and experience the whole park, otherwise you may not have enough time to see everything.

If you're not paying attention, you'll walk right by this park, 24" x 24"...or 452.16 sq. inches.
On St. Patrick's Day, 1976, Mill Ends Park was dedicated as the official Park of the City of Portland.
See about renting out the part for your next weeding.
Happy trails!

This is an attractive, small park in Portland, OR, my home town. It's always very fun to visit with out of town guests. After your visit, you can walk along seawall right next to the park. Be careful and don't disturb small people living in the park.

So, you walk right past it and then realise. Yes, you could say, whats the big deal? Its the small things that count. Stuff like this makes a city, makes a culture, makes a memory. The fact that its so small simple, someone did it and we can visit it is just amazing to me. Im more impressed that someone could make a small park than many other tourist things, its much more unique and interesting. Do it.

Okay, this is a quirky thing. It's cute and if you're in Portland City Center, take a walk by it, just to say you've seen it. We nearly missed it! It's near the harbor at Taylor St. in a traffic center!

Yes, it is the World's smallest park according to the Guiness Book of World Records. I had read about it and wanted to see it. When I did see it, I couldn't help but laugh. It is a potted tiny tree in a cement pot with other tiny plants or flowers (according to the seasons) around it. Plus, it is sitting on a median in the middle of the street! Unreal.
Not sure I would go out of my way to see it, but I did go out of my way to see it, so..................
