The Pearl district is bar and restaurant fun. Any time of day or night hipsters swirl through here. some funky stores and off course a killer bookstore!

I was quite disappointed by the Pearl District, and really all of downtown Portland at that. While there are some fun restaurants with good food and beer, walking around downtown was not much fun. I feel saddened there are so many homeless people in Portland...More

This district is cool in a lot of ways. Cool old buildings, "china town" and Vodoo Doughnut. It is also overrun by homeless people. They are a bit rowdy and set up all of their things on sidewalks and parks as well as urinating on...More

We read all about this area before our visit and were quite happy when we finally walked the area. Great energy - shops - restaurants - and people watching

Stumbled upon the Pearl and immediately felt cool. Basically it's got breweries, pot shop, and stores for trendy clothes and camping. Great chill spot is 10Barrels brewery on roof deck.

The Pearl District is filled with wonderful shops, restaurants, and great energy. My teenage daughter and I were touring colleges in Oregon and I fell in love with this part of Portland. Enjoy!

We enjoyed our walk around this district of Portland. Entered a lot of the galleries to see new art. Also enjoyed a nice restaurant. Only issue was lot's of construction.

Thee are mnany interesting shops and retaurants in the Pearl district, however, it is quite spread out and not easy to find everything. It really requires a couple of days to fully appreciate

The Zoo! Awesome! If you like great Pinot Noir and have a car, the Willamette valley has great wine. The Pearl for shopping/eating great food carts ( not your traditional gut truck!!)
