Another Fun Area of Portland

Great shops, good food great old buildings that are well maintained. Nice are to shop or grab a bite. There are some late night food places in the area too.

A great place to walk about and explore the stores and restaurants. Enjoy the atmosphere of the Pearl District. Get a feel for this transformed part of Portland. Many structures have been revitalized and modernized. There is a great variety to meet everyone's interests..... including brewery selections, coffee and bakery shops, a great selection of global fare.

This is such a fun area of downtown. There is so much to see and do with just a quick walk. We stayed at the Crystal hotel in the area and never needed a car or cab to get around. Lots of shopping - big chains and quaint shops -, fun restaurants and bars.

Portland has a lot of nice areas and a few dumpy ones that still pretty hip, but I'd say this is the part of the city most popular for the arts and fine dining. I'm not a local, but that is the impression I get as most Portlanders seems very happy with food carts which are good and readily available,... More

We spent an afternoon walking around the Pearl District and never ran out of things to do. There are so many cute shops to step into and restaurants to eat at. It felt like there was a brewery on every block. I would highly recommend spending time exploring this neighborhood, it has something for everyone.

It's a pretty cool area to check out. Parking can be difficult to find as it's mostly pay and there's not a lot of space.

My favourite area in Portland by far. There are lots of fun and unique places to eat and shop. It's fun to just walk around, you don't even need to spend any money. Make sure you reserve a day or afternoon for this area.

Store after store, restaurant after restaurant this street is perhaps the most commercial street in the city. Not very many high rises it is low keyed, the merchandise is unique and original and you pay for it. I love to window shop and sometimes buy wonderful items in memorable stores, especially housewares. But shop around before you fall in love... More

One of the best parts of town for walking around. Scattered shops and some of Portlands fine restaurants make this just a "feel good" place to hang out. Also, see the "Alphabet" district for a more lively take...
