Happy and friendly as well as knowledgeable staff

Great information and advice, easy to access being centrally located. The recommendations were spot on, just what we wanted, especially the Mount Hood and Hood valley trip.

This is where you find the Hop On/Off bus, sit for awhile while shopping, or grab a cup of coffee to go. The flowers are pretty and the small fountains are fun.

Third and most important is that they give great information about the wonderful city of portland and its activities. Stop her first and you will be pleased you... More

This was our first family visit to Portland. We went to the Visitor Center and they were the most helpful. Explained the city, explained and gave us a city map, marking our desired destinations. One of the best VC I have ever used. Very Helpful!

It should be part of your walking tour around the downtown area. there are plenty of smart parks nearby to stash your car and it is also near the hub of the max and streetcars that can easily take you around the area.

But the transit people not so much. They will sell you passes and tickets. Don't pay cash the tickets I bought were not what I wanted... More
