A beautiful large green area not far front from The centre of Portland. So easy to get to via the great tram system and a shuttle bus around it. Lovely.

Nice walk, brilliant foliage, easy uphill/downhill, well connected (shuttle bus), Rose Garden, Japanese Garden, Memorials, Gift Shop. Marked trails plus maps all over. Cycling also possible

We had planned to just take a peek the Rose garden, but ended up spending a few hours wandering around other areas/paths. Huge trees and lovely homes.

No specific bike trails, but there are plenty of bikers on the winding roads through the park. Check out the park map.

Max red drops you off below it, take elevator to the top nd you will be smack dab in the middle of the entrances for zoo, children's museum and trolley tour pick up
