Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

These are awesome falls. It is a very nice park with good trails. It is an easy stop on the way to Waldo Lake and Crater Lake.

We took the ride over to Salt Creek Falls after our drive on the Cascades Lakes Byway. Totally worth it! This is a really nice waterfall, with some very good views after a short walk from the parking lot. Do this if you are nearby.

We were on motorcycles when we spotted the sign for the Salt Creek Falls. It's just off the highway and definitely worth a peek. We walked the 3 mild hiking loop. Fairly easy. The falls is reported to be the second tallest falls in Oregon. It's gorgeous!

I like to think I’m a waterfall guy but I have to admit that I had never heard of these falls before our recent visit. Multnomah and Silver Falls yes but not these. Too bad because Salt Creek Falls rates right up there with the big boys. And it is so easy to visit too. We visited in April but the paths were still covered in snow so exercise extreme me caution. We almost missed seeing the falls because we took the oath to the left of the restrooms and this was too dangerous to get up close. Another couple told us to take the hidden path (in wintertime) to the right of the kiosk and these took us to a great viewing platform. Definitely add Salt Creek Falls to your list of Falls to visit in Oregon.

This is a beautiful waterfall and is an easy walk to view. It was winter when we stopped, but we will definitely come back in the summer.

what a treat this was, about 1/2 way between Eugene and Highway 97, about the time you should be getting out to stretch your legs and breath some non air conditioned air, turn off either the stereo, or the noise from the back seat, and enjoy a senses respite. the hike down the canyon to obtain even better views is easy going down, takes a little more time coming up. please allow yourself an hour, maybe 90 minutes if you take time for a snack what wont leave crumbs in the car. this was enjoyable, very much worth the $5 per car, and worthy of your time and attention...

I've visited this waterfall many times over the years, and it never fails to impress. The hike to the view point at the top is extremely short and easy. The falls can also be briefly viewed from the highway right before the tunnel when heading to Oakridge.

The waterfall is simply magnificent. The trail that leads to falls is very nice. There is a way to get to the bottom of the falls.
