Heading north out of Newport watch out for the road sign for this place as you will be past it before you realise it. Ride up and park, no charge. Best time to be there, a spring full tide....spectacular! A wholly natural water feature.....excuse the...More

The actual bowl may or may not be shooting water high into the air depending on the tides & winds. But it's so easy to get to and such a nice walk that it's worth at least 30 minutes exploring the area.

Devil’s Punchbowl is right off Coastal Hwy 101. We didn’t hike down since the tide was turning high, but you can walk down to the beach and check all kinds of wonderful sea life and landscapes were just spectacular👌🏽The Winery is definitely a perfect oasis,...More

The main draw is views of waves in the punchbowl, but we also enjoyed views all along the bluff as we walked the short paved path along the protective fence. Great views of waves crashing on the rocks are a delight for photographers. Whales could...More

It was very foggy that day that we came to visit, but though not so clear, we still manage to take pictures but kind of hazy.

To get the most out of what you want to experience make sure you go at the right tide. If you go when the tide is coming in the bowl is filled with the ocean and can be spectacular. If you go when the tide...More

Another great place along the Oregon coast to stop and watch the power and majesty of the ocean as it throws itself against the rocky face of the cliffs. You stand and watch the action and become mesmerized by the shear splendor of the never-ending...More

Driving down the coast and I just looked to see what was enroute to our next destination. Found this gem. It was a perfect stop, easy to get to off the highway, and nice little walk. Lots of stairs to get down to the beach...More

Unique and beautiful! It was raining and cool, but worth seeing. We spent 15 minutes there and enjoyed the views.

Overcast day on coast. Great view of this geologic marvel! Easy to view. Park at end of road or in state park lot and take short walk to top of road. No fee or permit required.

There were lots of dogs there so I’m going to go with yes on that. Friendly tip - get the app for tide charts or get a tide chart from a ranger station. You can walk into the Punchbowl at low tide and then view it from above... More

Make sure you put it in your GPS as Devil's Punchbowl State Natural Area. Watch for the sign. It looks like a regular side street but keep going. It is at the end of the street. You will pass the picnic area, restrooms... More
