Restored interior. Not able to get up into the actual light tower area to view the light up close. The light is attached to the living quarters, which are restored nicely with furnishings of the time. Interesting video which give a history of the light and its preservation. LIttle gift shop and restrooms, also.

Great place to have a picnic. They have picnic tables around the lighthouse. The light house was to far for me to walk to I'm disabled.

While visiting the State of Oregon we happened across the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse. It is so fascinating to hear the history of the lighthouse and the family that lived in it. It is set up for visitors to get a very realistic idea of how it was set up and used back then. It is free to visit but donations... More

Self-guided tour of this interesting, "haunted" lighthouse. Lots of good stories have been told about this place. Video, nice little (very cramped) bookstore in the basement with some truly unique items. Friendly volunteers with a wealth of knowledge. Donations accepted by not demanded. Highly recommended if it's open! Only takes a few minutes, well worth it!

The place is a self guided tour and well worth the time. The view is magnificent and the house itself is interesting. This house contruction puts modern home construction to shame. The kitchen is especially interesting. The rope beds are thought provoking and recall the origin of: Sleep tight.

Great place to hang little bit of a walk but well worth the trip. Look down on the rocks for all the seal lions.

Saw it but didn't really explore since the Yaquina Head and other light houses were more impressive. Would visit if had more time.
