A quaint shopping area and beach.

This is an attractive shopping district with cute shops and restaurants. It is right on the beach. Parking was easy, but it was May when we visited.

A good place to investigate when in Newport. Little places to poke around in and look at souveniors or grab a treat to eat.

It doesn't matter if the weather is good or not in Nye beach, or what time of year you go there; you have everything you need. Sylvia Beach Hotel for curling up with wine, tea, and books to watch a storm or kites. A walk to the Irish Pub, or another sweet little restaurant to eat yummy food, browse a... More

We all got to do & see what we wanted from a used bookstore to art to souvenirs to a delicious lunch at Cafe Stephanie. Highly recommend because All the openers were friendly and helpful.

This area has been completely built over, and up! I was shocked at how unrecognizable it had become. The old charm is gone.

Nye Beach has what appears to be the lowest and easiest beach access in the area. It is quite walkable, with a wide variety of shops and great restaurants---both small and casual, as well as fine dining for special occasions. You can eat well, shop for gifts, and take in a beach sunset all in just a few blocks. Its... More

We just stayed here again for the 4th year in a row, and the neighborhood feel is quaint and convenient to everything. We love that we can walk to the beach, to the coffee shop or to breakfast, as well as a handful of great restaurant choices. Plus the visual arts center, performing arts center and galleries.

The Nye Beach area is beautiful! It has something for everyone from good eats, to shopping, to playing on the beach. Take your pick from seafood at the Chowder Bowl to a Guinness at Nana's. Or grab a muffin at Panini or breakfast at Nye Beach Cafe. The area is clean and just a funky fun spot! Every summer more... More

It was my husband's first time seeing the ocean and we both fell in love with Nye Beach. All the people were incredibly friendly. We felt welcome and at home from the hotels-the restaurants. We loved the local products in both the shops and the restaurants. It was an amazing adventure and we plan on making trips back in the... More
