If you are near Newport you need to see the Oregon Coast Aquarium. It's next to the Hatfield Marine Institute. I think it's a little pricey but there is a senior discount and if you have not visited before, you really should go. Plenty of exhibits, nicely done.

The aquarium was really fun to go and explore. There are lots of creatures to check out and the underground viewing area is amazing. Lots of sea creatures to see up close. Look for discounts at hotels and restaurants in the area.

This you all can forgo. This is too hyped up and really they should clean up and fix things for the price. There were no seals in exhibits and in the harbor over 25 of them. Crazy. We spent a lot of money and really was disappointed. The underwater garden has more sea animal life.

The Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport is always a busy attraction. It provides kids and adults with great information about the creatures that inhabit the Pacific Coast. The touch and feel pools are lots of fun for the kids and adults alike.

Lots of beautiful aquariums, different species of marine life. The tunnel was amazing! Seals, sea lions, octupus, plenty to watch and enjoy.

The aquarium was not what I expected from online research. I thought it would be much bigger with more attractions. But overall it was fun and the kids thought it was great! The highlight for me were the jellyfish tanks. Those things are simply beautiful. The highlight for the kids was the sea otter tanks. They are just so adorable.... More

I love this place! I'm a senior, but the otters, seals, octopus and fish tunnels bring out the little kid in me. Lots of "oohing" and "awing" at all the colorful fish, sea creatures, sharks, rays, jellyfish, sea anemones. Its worth it to time your visit to the sea otter feed times; they put on a good show. I wish... More

We always love going to the Oregon Coast Aquarium when we visit the Oregon Coast. Located on the South and of Newport, it is conveniently located near other attractions and great places to eat. The cost is perfectly acceptable at around $25 per adult with discounts for memberships, children, and seniors. The feeding shows are absolutely the best part! They... More

This aquarium is tiny and there was not much to see. I suppose it would appeal to small children. I found the entrance fee to be high for what they offer.
