It was very interesting to see the restored pioneer Quaker home built in 1881. The inside of the house gave a good indication on how life was.

While this is a modest house, the history is fascinating. Those of us who associate President Hoover only with the depression will learn a lot. He was a true exemplar of the American Dream. Definitely worth a stop while in Newberg.

It's tiny, but illuminating about the early life of Herbert Hoover. I find these places fascinating; and it doesn't seem to get a lot of traffic so you can relax and take your time.
