Eden Valley Orchards 2319 Voorhies Road Medford, OR 97501 This orchard property has been in cultivation since the mid-1850s. Joseph H. Stewart bought and named Eden Valley Orchards in 1885 and became widely recognized as the father of the commercial pear industry in Southern Oregon. It historically has been a social gathering place for local people, and its proportions, surrounding amenities, and valley views are highly attractive to guests. Our estate pears are made into hard pear cider to be released this winter.

EdenVale is my favorite winery, and what makes them stand out among the many other Southern Oregon wineries is how they age their wine before release. You can try their 2006 Claret, a 2007 Syrah, and many wines just as old. They were made for ageing, and they have aged well. Also, the tasting room staff are funny and good... More

First time here. Met friends from out of town. Beautiful location in early 1900's estate and pear orchard. Wonderful whites and reds. However, ask to try the Pear Cider. Refreshing!!

We visited EdenVale Winery for the first (and probably last) time by attending their S’More Love with Inter Courses, Bonfire and Dancing at EdenVale’s Historic Barn last weekend. Although it was billed as a food and wine pairing, it turned out that for $69 per person, you got one glass of wine and a buffet dinner. The "pairing" was suggestions... More

I love this place!!! The wines are fabulous, both the reds and whites! The grounds are beautiful, the staff very friendly and professional. They are a small winery, but have excellent wines! I normally won't drink a Syrah or Merlot, they are just disgusting to my pallet; however, I will drink EdenVale's. They also have a Sangria to die for... More

Really impressive wines and super fun. Be sure to go when Aaron and Lindsay are there!!! The 07 Tempranillo, Sangria and Winter Glog are standouts.

By far one of the most underrated wineries in the region. It is definitely a must visit destination if you are in the area of Medford, and they have some of the nicest staff you might encounter in all of Oregon.

My rafting group selected Edenvale Winery for our pre-river meal/event. After touring the winery, we had a catered meal (by Doug) outside overlooking the vineyard. The food was wonderful. Doug did a great job using all local ingredients. He and Anne (the owner) paired the wines expertly. It was a great experience.

Driving through the pear orchards to a beautiful mansion was a treat. The tasting room is well staffed-- knowledgeable and very friendly. We loved the wines--the Sangria bag just ready for a float down the river was delicious . The rose gardens surrounding the house were gorgeous. Be sure to stop at the beautiful boudoir restroom before you leave.

My Wife and I were heading to Redding and I thought it would be fun to go back to Edenvale Winery. We feel they have good wines and the people in the tasting room have always been more than nice and they know the product well. They have a little doll house for kids to play in and the grounds...
