We had the urge to see the Spruce Goose, and this it's current location. This the real thing, not a replica. It is well the trip. We had planned a couple of hours, but ended up staying the whole day. They have a large collection...More

My wife and I spent a wonderful day checking out all the different aircraft and space technology. This place has the Spruce Goose built by Howard Hughes. If you enjoy aircraft, this place is a must stop. Amazing . . .

We are airplane enthusiasts so this is a must see. I think it would be interesting for everyone. The spruce goose is just beyond large. Wingspan of a football field. 8 engines. There is a lot of information and lots of different airplanes to get...More

Saw a brochure for the Spruce Goose and since I was driving by thought I'd pop in to see some history. May poping in lasted most of the day. I've been to many aviation museums and this is one of the best. I was not...More

Have wanted to visit this museum for some time, but never seemed to make it as it is a bit out of the way - about 45 minutes to an hour south of Portland on mainly two lane roads. Finally took the plunge on a...More

The museum is very nice ... with separate buildings for the air side and the space side. The space displays were lacking in actual items ... with the Gemini and Apollo capsules suspended high above and out of view. The panels explaining the items were...More

This museum is well worth going to. We went to the main building and spent hours looking at all the planes and equipment. The people were very helpful. We will go back and see more when we have more time.

Not expecting to have such a neat museum in this area. Both the airplane side and the space side were cool. The spruce goose was cool to read about and see in person. We all like the space side a lot as it followed more...More

I have a history with the Spruce Goose from when it was transferred to Oregon. It is beyond comprehension, but that was the way Howard Hughes thought. In addition to all the priceless exhibits the cutaway radial engine alone is worth the visit. There are...More

With the movie, at least two hours. This is a minimum, and you would be somewhat rushed.

Yes there is a snack bar type of restaurant. We left and got lunch elsewhere and came back in on the same ticket. I think they stamped our hand if I remember. We did have to do something before we left
