The Eastern states are usually known for covered bridges. However, Oregon has over 50 covered bridges state-wide. I am working on riding my motorcycle to all of them. I really liked this one. It has been cleaned up well and is in a nice location.

The Sweitz's did a wonderful job restoring this bridge, It actually came off of drift creek along time ago and they did a great job restoring it back to original.

This is a very cute old bridge, and it's a wonderful piece of Oregon history. I think it's wonderful that people have taken the time and effort to preserve it, rather than allowing it to rot away and be demolished. That being said, it's probably...More

You don’t see too many covered bridges anymore it was nice to take a break and walk across this covered bridge reflecting on the past it has endured.

It was very Beautiful! The trail is well maintained and the suspension bridge is something you don't see often in locations such as this. The setting with the falls is epic!

We always enjoy driving out to see the old drift creek covered bridge and enjoy a family picnic while there. There’s a nice little hiking trail along the creek and there’s always the fresh air smell of the woods. One nice get away.

The covered bridge has quite a story. A little further and you can go hike to a supension bridge over Drift Creek falls. An easy trail to the falls.

Highway 101 to Highway 18 (five miles)' then about 4 or 5 miles on Hwy 18. There's a sign indicating where to turn, then another mile or so. Easy peach. Enjoy.
