One of my favorite lakes in Central Oregon for fishing. Great catch and release lake for Rainbows and Brown trout. If you're going to keep fish try the Kokanee instead.

Great weather. Small restaurant but good drinks. Nice gift shop.Very clean restrooms. Easy boat launches.

We visited the lake after going up to Paulina Peak. It was uncrowded and beautiful. There were other people there in campers and small boats and it was a very relaxed casual atmosphere. You can rent boats, fish, picnic or just relax in a beach...More

Family had a wonderful time renting a pontoon boat and enjoying East Lake. Beautiful place and magical setting. Oregon has SO MUCH to offer!

So sorry, didn't get this message until now. I did see quite a few people riding bikes but one would surely want to watch out for the traffic through the park grounds/camping areas.

Yes, just be mindful of park and campground traffic...they don't always go through there at pedestrian/bike speeds.
