Nice view . Wife took quite a few pictures and we walked around for a while. There are picnic benches and places for a fire or to grill out available.

Among the most scenic drives I have taken from La Grande to Wallowa Lake, beautiful mountains, rivers, and streams, and quaint little towns along the way.

Definitely off the beaten path. You go here on purpose, but so beautiful. Bring your hiking shoes and camera!

This is a must see if you're the outdoors type person. Everything about the Wallows is awesome. The lake, the park, camping, hiking, horseback riding, fishing, boating. You name it the Wallows has it all for the outdoors people.

Joseph, Oregon is nestled in the foothills of the Wallowa Mountains, some of the most spectacular glaciated mountains south of Canada. The wilderness is extraordinary. And Wallowa Lake is a gem set between two of the most perfect lateral moraines in the world.
