The Rogue Hopyard is right on the Willamette River, just south of the once hop capitol of the world Independence, Oregon. Rogue has seven varieties and 42 acres of aroma hops growing on the Wigrich Appellation. The hops are harvested and baled in harvesting equipment and facilities on the farm. The tasting room at our Hopyard in Independence, Oregon is 468 square feet of proof that we're about World Class Beer, World Class Packaging, Community Integration, and Unique Thunder. This is the birth place of our Rogue Farm brew series and our Farmstead Nano Brewery ales. Sample these ales on the deck with a view of our hops and the surrounding terroir at sunset.

Visiting where some of Rogue Brewery's ingredients come from. They have a good food truck, a nice deck overlooking the fields, bottle sales and beers on tap. A nice bicycle ride from Independence or short drive. Excellent spot for a spring, summer of fall afternoon. You can also float in on the Willamette River but not an access for a river... More

This is on a hop farm and has a tap room with all kinds of ales, beer, cider made by Rogue brewery. Tables under the trees and next to the Willamette river. They have a food cat for food and it's bar type food good but not dinner.

Fun time watching the hops be harvested while we enjoyed lunch and a few brews. There's a great picnic area where you can sit and enjoy all that is happening around you along with kids playing unique fun games. Especially enjoyed seeing their use of hazelnut shells on the ground under the picnic tables. Great way to recycle the shells... More

When paying $6.50 for a "pint" of beer, I don't anticipate a 12 ounce plastic cup. Except for the chicken wrap, the food is underwhelming. The hummus and pita plate was a plastic 2 ounce cup of hummus, 3 slices of pickled zucchini, 2 pickled peppers, and less than a slice of pickled onion, with 6 wedges of pita... it... More

After Graduation ceremonies at Resser Stadium, we all drove to Rogue Farms near Independence,OR for lunch. Although it seemed to be an out of the way location, the parking lot was 1/2 full and the restaurant quite busy. We had burgers and sandwichs with very good selections of Rogue ales, beer and ciders. There are indoor tables but mostly picnic... More

Guys--super cool place. Awesome atmosphere and good beer. You can even kayak/float along the river and stop in for a beer. Beautiful on a nice day just hanging outside amongst the hops.

We had such a great time here. We walked around the grounds and saw how they grow hops. The beers we sampled were excellent. It was so scenic. The drive was totally worth it from Salem.
