Lovely little detour to see these beautiful falls. There is a viewing area that is easily accessible from the road and plenty of hiking options. We hiked the roughly .5 mile path up to the falls, it's a relatively easy hike, a bit steep and...More

The drive on the scenic highway along the Columbia River was great and offered many idyllic stops. This falls was one. A busy place but visited at peak time. Amazing that it is so close to the road!

Beautiful waterfall, right off the parking lot, so you don't have to walk far. Could take a dip if weather is hot. beautiful place to contemplate nature, busy though.

Multnomah Falls is a popular destination so get there early. The walk to the bridge is not bad and the views are spectacular. The loop around and above the falls is a bit of work but the falls along the trail are worth seeing.

Easy access to falls. You can see them from your car. Walk up a way and you walk behind pony tail falls. If you have the energy go to middle falls. After the iron bridge there is a steep trail to triple falls. This trail...More

You can easily park and view Horsetail Falls from the bottom, but you can also take a short (but rocky) hike and see Ponytail Falls higher up. The hike is mostly shaded and the views of the river from up high are worth it. You'll...More
