The park is located on the top of Chehalem Ridge and can be accessed from Rt. 219. They have picnic tables and walking paths. The park is not very large but it has this unbelievable view of the valley.

This park seems to be popular despite the fact that it doesn't have much going for it. The views are decent but there are better views to be had nearby. It seems really popular in the winter when people with 4x4's take price in making...More
Amazing views. Not a lot of parking and no amenities but a relaxing place to look at the valley below. The only problem is the rude bicyclists on the roads leading to it and in the park itself. I guess they think they own everything.
A very pretty drive up to the top, good parking area. Picnic tables in the woods great for an outdoor meal break. There were great views to the south across the Willamette valley and especially over the Ribbon Ridge AVA area.Lots of new tasting rooms visible...More
This little known park offered an excellent view of the mountains to the north. There were a few trails, but rather limited hiking. We encountered only a couple of other visitors during our mid-week mid-summer visit. A wonderful, quiet find!
Tough to beat and a great short cut to and from Gaston Oregon to the rest of the world.
Not well identified but if you start climbing you are on the right road. Just a little bit of a parking area and quite a view.
