If you are coming into the Applegate Valley Wine Trail be sure to stop at Rosella's. It's a small family run vineyard with an easy atmosphere. Rex and Sandi along with son Rowdy operate the vineyard, make the wine, and run the tasting room. Rex is always ready to answer your questions about the wine making process. This is a... More

Sandi and Rex greeted us warmly at their very special boutique winery, where we sat outside the tasting room, sampling delicious wines while enjoying a stunning backdrop of scenery. We will definitely visit again and wish their wines were imported to Portugal.

This was the first winery we stopped in, small not fancy excellent wines. The owner poured the wine described the process, no fee to taste. We did buy some excellent wine. This was the least fancy winery we went to all day but the one we enjoyed the most.

Rosella's is one of my favorite family-owned-and-operated wineries in the region. They have a great cabernet, and their Ula Waina red blend (merlot/cab) is also a winner. Be sure to try their Wai Kula dessert wine too. And ask if they have any merlot blush -- they usually produce it in keg form but depending on the time of the... More
