We went to get a little closer view of the mountain (Mt. Hood). We were not disappointed. The drive on the way up was very pleasant and beautiful! I would recommend driving up! It was great!

Where else can you get to snow in July? Being from Florida this was an exciting treat. We hiked further up the mountain and watched snowboarders and found marmots. They were super sweet and let us go again after lunch.

This place is beautiful. The lodge is awesome and there were people still skiing, snowboarding, and riding snowmobiles, in mid July. That was awesome that we could place in the snow.

This historic lodge is almost like a mini-museum. The recreation room is impressive and the kids enjoyed ping pong and shuffle board (just ask front desk). There is nothing like a snowball fight in June!
