We came up to Medford for my son's soccer tournament and decided to stay in the yurt. More economical than a hotel, more fun too. We had fun making a campfire and playing games. Good time to unplug. Kids enjoyed the bunk beds and although not the most comfortable, my wife and I slept on the other bed. The park... More

I took this trip with my senior parents and my two young children. I had never stayed in a yurt before , it was kind of like camping with some of the comforts of a hotel. This campground is nice and well maintained it has showers and real toilets. As a bonus, on the weekend we were there, a group... More

Stopped here on a Thursday in late January. A, B and C loops open, 29 bucks a night for full hookups. Winter has been tough on the trees in the park, but clean up is progressing. No problem finding a spot for us to park our pickup and 35' 5'er without unhooking. No wifi or cable tv here, but they... More

Wonderful cool picnic grounds. Surrounded by the beautiful Rogue River! Visit the restaurant across the river "Teapot on Wheels" for a great breakfast or lunch!

I have stayed twice in the last 6 months. Once was over the summer and we were camping. It rained and we were not prepared at all. We ended up having to sleep in the car. However the showers were amazing! Very clean and that is what led us to come back another visit. Fast forward to middle of October... More

Valley of the Rogue is a nice park, well maintained, with good clean facilities. It is a meeting place for friends to hangout and be away for a while. There is a walking trail and some (limited) immediate access to the Rogue River. Plenty of green grass and level RV parking sites. There is the constant hum of the nearby... More

Whenever in the area with our RV, we always spend several days in this park. I love the Rogue Valley area and as we have family in the area, this park ticks all boxes. It is big rig friendly, has clean amenities and even a laundry on site. It is next to the Rogue River and there is a lovely... More

This state park easily accessible off of I-5 sits directly on the beautiful Rogue River. It is easily accessible to all the sites in the area. We brought our 40 foot motorhome and within two days were in standing water. I had to dig trenches to get the water to drain away from the footpath. The picnic table was almost... More

We stayed at Valley of the Rogue State Park recently and loved it. We were close enough to see the river and easily walk to it from our site. It is an airy park with shade and sun. We enjoyed a feeling of openness. The sites are large but not very private. TV reception was good as well as cell... More

Dogs are allowed (on leash) on all trails. Multiple paths off main trails to get down to the river. F loop (electric and water hookups but no sewer hookup) has the biggest, spacious sites. Full hookup sites more cramped. We stayed in F loop. Paved bike/hiking trails as well as the dirt trails. Beautiful area, fishing spots, close to Gold... More
