This excellent museum covers several areas of interest. Lots of information on the local area and Coast Guard history downstairs. Upstairs has exhibits about Captain Robert Gray and Lewis and Clark. There is also an extensive firearms collection. Definitely stop if you are interested in the history of the Oregon Coast.

I was driving by and out of curiosity pulled in. Anna was very accommodating and gave me a tour of the museum. For a price of only $4 it was one of the best values I have ever seen in these days of high priced extortion. If you love the ocean, and have interest in the early days of the pacific... More

The is one of the nicest little Museums I have ever been to. Well put together and done. I enjoyed it very much, they even have a play area for children where they can dress up like pirates.

What a delightful surprise this museum was, on a rainy summer day in Oregon. It covers a lot of areas related to Garibaldi: sailing/ships/shipwrecks, lumber, fishing, Coastal Indians, guns. There are exhibits on WWII in the area and vintage videos. I enjoyed the display and text about ships' figureheads. An entire room is dedicated to the Captain Robert Gray, unsung... More

It's easy to breeze through Garibaldi when traveling down 101, but pay the $4 to get an idea of the increadible change this small coastal town has undergone and continues to work through. Historically a working mans town built from logging and fishing, Gaibaldi tries to rebound from the downsizing of these industries in the 80s. But is not only... More
