Really needs more information as a lot of foreign travelers would not know what a caboose is let alone the fact that you get on in a different part of the train if you have tickets already ! Exciting to become part of the heritage...More

I guess that sounds contradictory but my actual enjoyment was only about 10 minutes as the train passed the rocks in the bay. I think kids would really enjoy it. Conductors looked bored. For the price it wasn't worth it. Could have had a nice...More

Because everyone else in our group went out charter fishing, this was a fun way to spend the time with our 7 year old. It was slow enough to make picture taking easy and to see things up close that we had seen from the...More

Full disclosure, I did not take the ride, but followed the train as it went north along the 101 coast highway. Because of it's slow speed, you can easily stop 3 or 4 times along the way to watch it go by the beautiful ocean...More

This is a perfect way to see some beautiful sights and scenery while someone else does the driving! We caught the train in Rockaway Beach and did the round trip to Garibaldi and back. It's not a long ride - just the right length, actually....More

Great time on the train from Garibaldi to the Fireworks Show in Rockaway Beach. Don't have to worry about finding a parking place and avoids the traffic jam to get out of town afterwards. Beautiful sunset and views on the way. Sky of stars on...More
