Nice sights for small pop up, But dirty and unkept bathrooms. I mean ghetto, crime scene tape partitioning off men and women showers with only handicap available. The oddity is that they seem to have camp hosts at every corner. Is it worth $25? If you don't mind filthy bathrooms. There was electric.

Honeyman State Park is just as exciting now as it was when we were kids in the 1950s. It's every bit as exciting now as then. We kids called it the Sand Dune Park place, please take us there! Not many places where you can run down the sand dune and into the lake to cool off. There is more... More

We were lucky enough to find a campsite a month before Labor Day (likely due to a cancellation because usually sites are booked well in advance). Our site happened to be a few sites down from the entrance to one of the several paths to the dunes. We enjoyed sunsets on top of the dunes as well as some sandboarding... More

This is a very nice campground with all a variety of things to do. They have great camp hosts and the sites and restrooms are kept clean. We love Lake Cleawox there and enjoy renting the kayaks and canoes. The kids love the sand dunes and picking huckleberries. It's close to Florence so it's easy to run in to town... More

We enjoyed our lunch at Cleawox Lake in the park. As we had our picnic, we watched other visitors climb the sand dunes across the lake. A nice stop on our way north.

Perfect blend of mountain and beach! There are so many activities to enjoy here, best to plan on staying at couple days. Fishing here is perfect for kids, however, it can be a bit tricky for visitors. It's highly recommended to ask the staff on site for fishing tips and tricks for the area.

We stayed in the campground for 4 nights mid September. Kids had returned to school so it was more quiet and peaceful than when we just drove through the park earlier in the summer. We're looking forward to returning to do some kayaking on our next trip. The only complaint was the registration booth when they'd close the right lane.... More

I am older so the walking paths at Honeyman park are just right ! The pattle boats are fun as well. Just a good time all around.

We chose to take our beach vacation the week after Labor Day and the start of most schools'. Best decision EVER. I fondly remember travelling from Eugene to Honeyman for class field trips and enjoying the park then, twenty years later it is still one of my faves. I now have a two year old who had an immense amount... More

Loved this site. So big. Almost too big. We could have comfortably fit 4 tents, (we had 2). The bathrooms we stocked and super clean. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 rating is because there was no hot water in our loop. We will certainly be going back next summer to take advantage of the lake and the... More
