We were thrilled with the cozy atmosphere of this charming downtown movie venue! It felt very homey inside; and the outside was noteworthy – a historic church with tall cathedral glass windows, and notably designed in 1925 by W.R.B. Willcox (a professor/& Dean of Architecture...More

Locally owned and independent, the Bijou offers many fine films that are not shown in mass market chain venues. Convenient to mid-town and the University of Oregon, it is a cultural treasure in Eugene worth visiting.

Beautiful building with a gorgeous Mediterranean architecture. They host great movies, especially the international ones. Nice little pantry shop for snacks is inside the building. The bathrooms are clean.

I'm pleased that the Bijou has opened a new theater in the center of town on Broadway near Willamette. Its clean and just the right size and close to many restaurants in the area....including the new ice cream store. This was my 3rd trip since...More
