Took a large group of children and youth to explore the butterfly garden. Not a single map on-line or on-site that identifies location of designated areas except disc golf and Kalapuya Stones. Love the park but frustrated with poor signage.

My boyfriend and I strolled through the park with coffee in hand to see the blooming spring flowers and waterfowl. Lots of duck, geese and newborns greeted us as we walked by. Definitely a great stop if you're visiting.

This park is centrally located to public transportation. Plenty of parking and I have always felt safe visiting this public city park. The running/walking/biking trail next to the river is one of the most scenic I have experienced in any city park. The fact that...More

Just a stone throw's away from our hotel. Walking alongside the Williamette River. The path fairly easy and flat. Great for kids...playground area with lots to do and see. Check out the archeological pit and do your own digging!

When I walked along the River Walk, I ended up in Alton Baker Park a few times. It was a nice park, and I found a special spot where I could hear the rush of the river and really relax.

I walk through the park when I go to Oregon football games. That's fat lest 6 times a year. I go see concerts at the amphitheater every summer. I've biked, fished, swam (your not allowed to do this) walked, hung out, thrown a frisbee... Ok...More

No Charge! I have never had a problem with finding a place to park. There is a couple of tables under a wood pavilion type cover but I have always found them taken. My suggestion is to bring your own barbecue if at all... More
