One of many running paths in Eugene, sometimes called "Tracktown USA," this one is a 3.8-mile riverside loop in Alton Baker Park through a woodsy and scenic area.

The trail has a soft running surface made of wood chips. It's relatively flat. The trail passes through a wooded area that provides great relief from the sun. Great place to run!!! Paths range from two to more than four miles.

The trail is only a few miles and there are different loops, so you don't have to be too in shape to get the experience. Great for Pre fans who want to come pay tribute. Trail itself is nice, different paths that pass a river,...More

My husband and I took a vacation to Eugene. We are runners. I am a big time runner. This trail is a must simply for its namesake! The various distance loops were perfect for us even though we ended up looping the larger twice. It...More

We greatly enjoyed the surface and the woods/open meadow mixture. The handy location in Alton Baker Park provided handy parking and access to restrooms. The trail was well utilized which was great to see. Insightful to have three loop length options. Keeping bicycles on separate...More

A great 4 mile loop to run with the family. It is a wonderfully maintained trail through a lovely park with areas of lush trees, along creeks, the river, pond and the stadium. Magical!

This is the model that all communities should use for running trials. Soft surface, marked, some places have lights and you are sure to see an elite out of a run while your there

If you're a runner, you've got to run Pre's trail. It's historic, beautiful, and relaxing. It's a great 4.2 mile loop that always goes by quickly. The bark surface is well-maintained.

Ran this at first light it was a bit trick in the near dark. But felt like I was on sacred ground. Very cool. Worth the effort.
