I went here alone and by myself. I personally love the hot water. I tested the temp on the spring and it was 131F. There is cold spring water to cool off with and it is also safe to drink. The hike is a mile...More

We arrived at 8:30 am after a wonderful hike in and were the first ones there. Not for long though so if you'd like to enjoy on you own, go earlier. Don't use any of the 4' or so diameter tubs if they're full. Drain...More

I have visited this place three times in the past few months. The drive to the area is beautiful, and the hike to the hot springs is gorgeous, no matter what the weather is like. The tubs are made of hollowed out logs, and are...More

We made the mistake of not calling the ranger station in Estacada before we arrived. Make sure that you call before you go. The structures and tubs at Bagby were damaged during the heavy snows of 2016/2017. The trailhead parking lot is still snowed in...More

I have been to Bagby Hotsprings three times and I remember when it was quaint. The hike was absolutely wonderful but the log tub area was awful. As the last one of the open four bays it took about 45 minutes to fill the tub...More

Google "Bagby HotSprings GPS coordinates." You will see a map and you can plug the coordinates into your GPS. Confirm everything on a paper map since you may be sent there by impassible logging roads.
