Recently stumbled on the Mt Bailey Cat skiing opportunity, and decided to try it having done a good amount of powder skiing but always working my own way up. It was definitely worth it. Great snow all day, and especially great crew of guides and pilot. Ross Jason and Ryan did a really nice job guiding us 8 skiers through... More

We saw Mount Bailey from both a viewpoint location as well as from Diamond Lake. The 2000 foot Mount Bailey is a young tephra cone and shield volcano. It is in the Cascade Range of Oregon.

For experienced skiers only. Contract with Diamond Lake Resort for cat lift up and spend the rest of the day skiing down. The thrill of heli-skiing at fraction of the cost.

A must see when you visit the lake. Can't really miss it. Take a boat into the lake from the lodge or ride bikes on the path surrounding the lake. A 12 mile loop.
